Rotala mexicana “Bangladesh”
Background
A variant of Proserpinaca palustris found on the Isla de Juventud (Cuba). However this particular form is often labeled Proserpinaca palustris, without the affix “Cuba”. Under good lights, it assumes a nice coppery red colour. Its characteristic variable serrate to feathered leaves contrast nicely against other aquarium plants.
