Riccardia sp. “chamedryfolia”
Foreground
Elatine hydropiper was brought into trade as an aquarium plant in Jahr 2010 by the aquatic plant nursery Anubias. This plant has soon gained a lot of popularity with aquascapers as wonderful ground-covering plant. It looks like a miniature version of Glossostigma elatinoides. Whereas G. elatinoides can become quite invasive under good conditions, Elatine hydropiper grows only moderately and is thus much easier to handle.
